Planet Pod visits BedZed and talks One Planet Living with Bioregional’s Sue Riddlestone and Suzannah Gore

Amanda braves the snowy weather and visits BedZed – the pioneering low carbon housing and community development in Sutton – where she is joined in conversation by Sue Riddlestone, CEO Biogregional and Suzannah Gore, Project Manager, to talk about sustainable consumption and production, One Planet Living and the circular economy (as well as using soap instead of shampoo and the quiet revolution in garden centres at B&Q!)

Our guests:

Planet Pod talks smart cities and EVs with Alex Gilbert, Celine Cluzel and Naomi Nye

Refreshed from our Christmas break, Planet Pod is brimming full of energy for 2019!  What better way to start than by talking to our guests Alex Gilbert, TfL’s Senior Energy Strategy Manger, low carbon energy consultant Element Energy’s Celine Cluzel and Naomi Nye, EV Sales Manager at Alfen, about the opportunities and challenges associated with sustainable transport and smart cities.  This is the first in a series of podcasts focusing on Global Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.

Our guests:

This includes, but is by no means limited to: renewables; energy efficiency; transport electrification (including EV charge-points); power and thermal storage; private wire electricity supply; waste heat from the Underground; low carbon housing and urban infrastructure; sustainable property solutions; and decentralised energy networks.

In Alex’s opinion TfL offers the single greatest opportunity to make substantive social & environmental improvements within London.  He asks that, if any Planet Pod listeners have a relevant solution for our Capital, please get in touch with him!
